Many believe that the Revolutionary War is the only just war that the US was involved in, for it was the only war in which the people were defending themselves from an aggressor. To put it bluntly, the US has been a warmongering State, and many people have been brainwashed into thinking participating in the US war machine is honorable. The Government does a great job of convincing them of this with its praise of the military and the benefits it offers. As I have said before, defense is something entirely different than the militarism of the US Empire. I believe we can defend our families and homes, and by extension our territory if aggressive invaders are trying to do us harm, but the idea that people should join the military and invade, occupy, and kill because their Government tells them to is immoral. Trying to police the world is immoral, especially when those doing the policing are the ones causing the trouble. There is no good reason to have military bases in hundreds of nations. What gives the US the right to impose its will on the rest of the world? More importantly, why would any Christian give up his life or kill just because he was given the order to do so? There is no honor in killing for Caesar. In fact, I would say there is no honor in killing for defensive purposes, even though I believe we would be justified if we did.

Billionaires and politicians are willing to send you, or your children, overseas into a conflict that has nothing to do with protecting our families or our homes. They will stir up war fever in the masses, duping people with their talk of patriotism and service to God and country, and weak-minded people bite the hook. One way you can avoid it is by not joining the military. Another way is refusing to be killed or to kill when some politician tries to draft you into the military. Conscription is evil. If our families and homes are being attacked, no one is going to have to force us into action. Most of us are going to take up arms. But it is also true that most of us are not going to volunteer to be hired killers for the Government, going places we have no business going, doing things we have no business doing. It is also true that most of us are unwilling to sacrifice our children for the evil State.

My sons and I are not fearful men. My sons have good heads on their shoulders, and they are principled. We are not afraid of defending our family, and I know my sons will do the same once they are married with children. However, we will not go to war for the Empire. We will not betray Christ because a warmongering politician or fake preacher tells us we need to kill for our country, or because they say some "foreigner" deserves it. We will not become hired killers because of the benefits the Government would give us. We will not forsake my wife, their mother, my daughters, their sisters, or their families once they have them, for a cause that Christ has not given us. My family members will not be cannon fodder for the State. If it comes down to it, we will forfeit our lives for Christ – but we will not forfeit our lives for a pagan nation, or any nation.

You politicians and Government serving preachers do what you will with your families. You will not have mine.
