Perilous Times Shall Come

We must begin thinking about how perilous life can become in the territory controlled by the US, just as it is for people living across the world in other State controlled territories. People hang their hopes on which politicians get voted into office, but there isn't a "dime worth of difference" between them whether they call themselves republicans or democrats. They all seek power, and then they think it is their job to protect the institution that is the US, and we are the enemy if we do not comply with their ideology and their policies. Make no mistake about it, we are in danger. Of course, we can go along with them and somewhat keep them off our backs, but to go along with them is to become them. A person cannot fit into the mold created by the ungodly kingdoms of men and say that he is following Christ. Following Christ, in fact, makes us an enemy of the world's empires. Following Christ and refusing to submit to their satanic policies makes us a threat to their ideological control. If we are not a threat to the world's empires, especially the current Empire of empires, the US, we are doing something wrong.

Anyone who thinks these individuals have the best in mind for people living in the territory they control, people like us they do not even know, needs to think again. The US is a warmongering police-state, and things can get much worse. Our overlords are trying to do away with fossil fuels for their so called "green agenda", they are toying with the idea of creating digital "currencies", they are pushing dangerous "medical" policies, they are trying to do away with traditional food sources, and the lack of suppliers and transporters is going to have a disastrous effect on many people. They take portions of our earnings from us through property taxes and income taxes, and appropriate our resources as their own. Understand that these people will continue to enforce their tyrannical policies upon us because they think they are doing a good thing. Democracy is their god and there is no limit to the suffering they will mete out to protect their golden calf. They actually think they are doing right, and some even think they are serving God, by protecting the tyrannical institutions of the State. Those who carry out the policies of the State justify themselves because they are "just doing their jobs." Much suffering has been caused in history by people "just doing their jobs."

As the young Hebrews were pressured to kneel to the image of Nebuchadnezzar, we are being pressured to kneel to State rule and to satanic ideologies disguised as "equality", "love", and "freedom." Uncle Sam is the American equivalent of Nebuchadnezzar, and even many professing Christians take their knee before him. They are not like those young Hebrews who were thrown into the fiery furnace. They are cowards and compromisers. They serve the Kingdom of America rather than the Kingdom of God.

As for the details of preterism, partial preterism, futurism, the mark of the beast, tribulation, etc., I don't pretend to know how world events will play out before Christ returns, though many are self-proclaimed experts on the matter and they have much to say. Though I once did, because I didn't know any better, I no longer affirm the doctrine of a pre-tribulation rapture. It appears to me that much of what Christ said to the generation he was preaching to was applicable to them and it culminated in the destruction of Jerusalem. I also believe there is a substantial amount of symbolism in the Book of Revelation; imaginations often run wild and it is easy for them to fit almost anything into the vast imagery of the book. As for the saints meeting the Lord in the air, when Christ returns, I believe the dead will be raised and those who are alive and remain will "go up" to meet him and then immediately accompany him back to the earth. Until that time, we are living in enemy territory and we have obligations. We must serve Christ without compromise. We must provide for and protect our families. We must do good unto others, especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

I refuse to partake in or to promote the world system. Voting for a politician is a vote for the system. I oppose every inch of the State. It is the enemy of Christ, of Christians, and of humanity. I have no doubt that when Paul spoke of perilous times he was writing about the dangers of his generation, but I also believe that God in his wisdom meant these words for all of us because the course of history is cyclical. I may not know the details of the end, but I can see the patterns of history and know that the evils that have occurred in local territories are now able, in fact we are seeing it transpire before our eyes, to be doled out on a global scale. This time it is different. This time it is world wide, and as antichrists have been raised up in the past, we'd better believe that another one can harness the global machine that has been created by the satanic world Governments and use it to unleash death and destruction.

What are families and groups of families doing to prepare? How will they feed their families? How will they protect themselves? Are these unfounded concerns? If we could only ask the people of history that have been bombed, starved, imprisoned, tortured, gassed, burned, or cut off from society.
